Born on 6th september 1996 , the same date as your big brother Daniel - how amazing !
Diagnosed with a hepatoblastoma at 6 months (malignant liver tumour) and having a liver resection after 7 months of chemo, you came through it all forever smiling and went on to grow into a beautiful litle girl - our Beanie ! You were such a joy and such a nice person to know; everyone loved you.
At the age of 5 we were devastated to discover that you had a bone tumour (Ewings sarcoma) in your right shoulder blade - the medical profession had no idea why, and this was seemingly unrelated to the first cancer. The treatment was horrendous and for months and months we all battled not knowing whether you would actually survive the treatment itself, let alone the cancer.
Following succesful surgery things looked up and maintenance chemo was started but the harsh drugs had caused leukaemia, and we couldnt treat you any more.
You had a good year of remission where you went from strength to strength, Enjoying life to the full as you always did.To everyone on the outside you actually looked like you would get better but we knew deep down that the leukaemia would return . In February 2004 it came back with avengence and you deteriorated very quickly - we are so sorry that you had to suffer so much . You left us suddenly but peacefully on March 14th 2004 .Nothing prepares you for that..
Your brother Matthew was born just 9 weeks later - he is a horror and you would laugh at his antics! he has your sense of humour and blonde hair. Another little brother Ben arrived in february 2006 - he smiles alot, like you did! what would you say to all these boys??
We miss you every day and talk about you alot; you will always be in our hearts and you will always be our sunshine. What an impact you had on so many peoples lives .....

" know that I live on a moonlit night, kissed by a thousand stars,
embraced by goldendawn that lights the darkest shade ;
I paint the rainbow, colour the blossom and sing with nature's song;
sharing your laughter, wiping your tears, I am but a breath away .
Know that I live with the loving joy you gave my life so short,
radiant my smile, free from pain your angel treads by your side,
hush your sorrow, quieten your doubt
I wait to embrace you once more."

Thankyou to everyone who has left such lovely messages it means such alot

Love from Autie Hannah and Uncle Rob

Emily was the most delightful little girl that we have ever known and was always full of life and fun. She spread joy and happiness wherever she went and truly knew how to light up a room, better than any celebrity that we've ever seen.

She is thought about every single day and her cousin, Tom misses her a lot still. He was quite heartbroken when she left us, but we all look forward to meeting up with her one day. We know that those who love Jesus like she did are only saying a temporary "Goodnight" and not a permanent "Goodbye" to our dear, sweet little Emily.
